Tiger Woods speaks.
And so do I.
Read my quotes in Abiola Abrams‘ Kiss and Tell News article about Tiger Woods’ apology. Twenty-two top sex and relationship writers and performers weigh in. And, of course, none of us agree. But that’s what keeps things lively!

In December 2009 I was invited to appear on the Jesse Lee Peterson Radio Show, a syndicated am talk radio program featured throughout the Bible Belt and heard across the country. Hosting the show was The Rev. Peterson who is described as “the most courageous, outspoken critic of the liberal left and the so-called ‘black leadership’ in America today.” The episode was titled Masculinity vs. Feminism.
I would prefer Masculinity and Feminism, because there’s nothing at odds between the two! These are difficult dialogues and important debates. But it’s not a football game or two teams going at each other for The Big Score. This is not a zero-sum competition.
Anyway, many people have asked so, by popular request, I’m posting a link to the archived recording.
(Scroll down to episode 47, December 2, 2009. My segment begins at 1:26 in hour 3.)
Jesse Lee Peterson is a staunch anti-choice Republican. He pretty much hates President Obama and left-wing Democrats for “mapping out an aggressive agenda to take America down the path to socialism.” Peterson claims that women cause their own abuse (because they’re so angry). But is it true (like he argues) that women “don’t want to hear the truth about themselves”? Is it really (angry) Black women’s fault that so many of their sons are in jail? Did I cause a listener to feel violent?
Listen to the show and decide for yourself …
And, for the record: Our clear disagreements notwithstanding, Mr. Peterson was a gracious host.
